Within a historical and dramatic context, the series deals with the events of the Great Sedition, which is the period after the martyrdom of the caliph Othman bin Affan, through Ali bin Abi Talib's assumption of power, then the martyrdom of Ali and the assumption of Hassan, then the abdication of Hassan and the assumption of Muawiyah, and the assumption of Yazid, and even the martyrdom of Hussein in Karbala.
